I am trying to get an only Technics SL-BD2 working. It is a belt drive turntable. The speed strobe was way off, so I replaced the belt with a new one. Now the speed is much more steady, but every half second "hiccups" - I've read this is the "wow" of wow and flutter.

Also, the strobe marking on the platter moves vertially up and down - just a bit, so I wonder if the spindle is a tiny bit off.

Can I fix this turntable, throw it away, or sell it on ebay as "perfect condition" (just kidding!)
