Last night I forgot to turn off my Rega Planar P3. It was turning continuously about 10 hours. Could the it damage the cartrige (Elys Rega?, with only few months of regular use. It is safe play records records with this cartridge or should I replace immediatly cartridge?

I've got an Elys and a Rega P2. If the motor was running but the tone arm was on its perch, you won't suffer any consequences. If the needle was in the groove, well, you've added ten hours of wear to the needle and the record's exit groove.
Unless it hit the label paper; which means it is probably worn out since the paper acts like sandpaper. If so I would replace it. If not then Wayne is correct.
