Just received the Munch/Boston Saint-Saens Symph 3. Classic records 200 Gram "Quiex" vinyl.
Quiex???
More Snap, Crackle and Pop than a bowl of Kellogs! I had read elsewhere that there were QC problems with Classic but was unprepared for this. I have never, in 50 years of buying LP's, heard more surface noise on a new record.

Hmmmmm I have the 200 gram Miles Davis Kind of Blue, it almost as quiet as my cd version. Perhaps you should return that copy. Alternatively, how do you prepare your albums prior to play? Maybe this copy is full of mold release gunk. I can highly recommend the disc doctor brushes for this purpose. Did you get the ariston?
