Have an ARXA turnatable Original Model with a missing arm.
A REGA RB200 arm has been procured.
Need Instructions/templates/suggestions/to mount this arm on the AR TT.
Am an Engineer and can surely manage all the machining and fitting required.
Just the Center Pin to Hole distance??
and all the mounting Instructions required.
The Hole size is 23 mm Plus??
Thanks. Sunil Manga. INDIA.

Hi Scanman; The problem is you have to remove the old tonearm bearing well on the sub-chassis. The original arm sits in this well and rides on a ball bearing. You can make a copy of the floating sub-chassis out of acrylic, since you have an engineering background it should not be too difficult. Then you must make a template for the Rega and drill the top plate to accept the template. It's a fair amount of precision work. Then you will need to balance the suspended sub-chassis springs with relation to the rega. Merrill used to make a sb-chassis for the ARXA that would accept different arms but I am not sure if they still do.

You could tighten the springs up taut and mount the arm on top of the plinth but that might bring the resonace up into the audible band. Good Luck;J.R.
