Who was it wanted to scratch build a turntable?

My favorite part of this is in the construction details. About half
way through there's a photo of the TT taken from a low angle at the
rear which makes it look somebody's butt. :-)

The design is very elegant and sculptural
which drew me to it.


I get the idea that his approach is like antique auto
restoration or customizing: start out with the moving parts
and let the imagination go in any direction.
