Hey Howard, Vilchur designed the xa and xb I think you asked that earlier. I hate to say this but I think I sent the wrong headshell because I was downstairs earlier and lo and behold headshell under the el 84 chassis. Surprise;surprise! Looks like you got it sorted out though. Are you interested in the tonearm mods? They work well. And they are easy to do. and undo if so desired. The belt is standard: E-mail Tim@turntablebasics.com he will have it and lots of other interesting turntable stuff on his site. The only thing I tried on the plinth was plasti-clay. Just molded it all around inside. Seemed to help but I couldn't say how. By far the arm mods make the most change. SLFN,J.R.
