Is a 47 like a 45? I was given several recently. Are there any good designs for the 47 tube? Thanks, WVJ

Joe, the 45 is a triode, while the 47 is a pentode. Of course, the 45 has a four pin base and the 47 a five pin. Sorry, I know of no amplifier schematics using this tube.
