Hi there,

I am using the old faithful QUAD mkII tube monoblocks for quite a few years now and I am in heaven.
I have matched them up against some tough contenders and they really strutt their stuff. I just love them to bits!

Please share your experience with us...

Regards,
Dewald Visser

I own the RM-9 MKII. All I can say is the more things change the more they stay the same. I can't seem to find any faults with this amp.

Strengths:
Soundstage, true to the music, bass, decay, clean highs without being glazed over !

Weaknesses:
Gets pretty warm in my listening room. But what tube amp doesn't! Draws 220 watts at idle , I wouldn't leave this thing running allday. The price you pay for great music.
