It's really just like a Zobel, doing nothing but impedance compensation. Don't need it on the older radial horns, but the new horn kinda does, at least in some cases. Some drivers can live without it on the H290C, but some have too big an impedance pea...

You definitely want the Rs resistor installed and the C1 capacitor removed. This provides the best response. Of course, you can always leave C1 in place, but doing that gives a slightly tilted-up response, totalling about 3dB more at the very top end.

The impedance of the load is really more problematic for tube amps when it rises, so Zmax is probably the bigger issue for you. Fortunately, Zmax is very low. Great for tubes.
There are no driver options for the one π, two π or two π tower speakers....
