You guys have to go over to the Bottlehead forum for a look at JeffG's 2 towers. Very nice! I'm guessing he'll post here soon.

hey what a coincidence, i was just about to post some pics . i finally got a digital camera and figured out how to link them.

i built the cabinets over the christmas break, with lots of help from my father in law and using his shop - unfortunately my wife won't let me set up a tablesaw in our apartment.

the paint didn't turn out quite as nice as i wanted but i guess i can always make another pair

...sort of a fractal french curve design. Me Like! Breaks up and lightens the monolithic tower feel.

Looks like youve got some nice sounds to enjoy. Thanks for posting pics.

the foreplay and spare amp are on isolation sandboxes (basically sand filled boxes resting on squash balls) . i don't know how much they impact the sound, but i needed a small project last summer and thought they looked interesting.

check out the design here:

I made up a bunch of these for all of my components a while back and really swore by them. They do take up a bit of real estate and currently I've cut back on their use to have only one; under the dac/ CD player. My 2 year old used to like to stick his fingers in the gap between top and base and dig out the sand. What fun!
