Hi Till,

Nice pics! That sub came out real nice. I noticed your using 2 of the JBL 3677s for you HT. I have a pair as well and built the crossovers last week. I just created a simple 12db butterworth at 1200hz (1.5 mH coils and 12 uf caps). I did not add an zobel compensation or anything of that sort. Can I ask what type of cossover you built and if you added zobel compensation? Thanks.

The 3677s's have been "temporary" for about 6 months while I dither about whether the 2226J's from the 4648 and the 3677 horns are going in 7 Pi's. They sound damn fine in the little 4.5 cu ft cabs so I'm in no hurry. Have to do the turntable first.
The link is the discussion about crossovers. Don't remember about Zobel but Wayne recommends against with the 2226. With your M115's I don't know but there is also a post with the T-S parameters: search
"3677".

If you'd like, I'll send you the schematics for the passive crossovers described in this thread. They are described in great detail in the crossover document on the π Speakers website, but schematics are something that I retain and distribute separately with the plans.

Hi Wayne,

If you could send me a copy of the schematics that would be great! I have skimmed over your crossover doc before but I have not had a chance to read it in depth. Thanks.
