Because of cost issues and just because it sounds like a good idea I would like to try a 800hz crossover from a alpha15 and use the natual roll off of a ksn1188.
Could I use one of the woofer only sections of the standard designs or do I need to start from scratch.
The efficiency seems right and I know Andy has the responce curves for the 1188, this my have already been discussed but I would like to hear the newest thoughts on this idea.
Also I assume I need to go with a 5x15 horn to get down to 800hz, which ones will work (cost?)
Thank's again,
MikeH.

Sounds like a good plan. Just remember, you'll need a big box or an open baffle to use the Alpha 15.
