The Cornet inches closer to completion (if I had built it in it's metal box it would have been done long ago) and now I have an Advent 300 to listen to (not as good, prolly wants re-cap'd).
Problem is, altho' it sounds great and has really nice parts (Vampire 808 RCA's, and Schurter IEC) that allow 2 inputs with a switch, it sure is ooooogly!

Wadda you guys think? Should I take the time to box it, sell as is or keep it as a back-up?

More economical for someone to buy as-is! [message #32663 is a reply to message #32662] Mon, 05 December 2005 04:40 Go to previous messageGo to next message

Might make a difference for someone looking for a phono preamp on a budget!

Just my 2 cents worth!

I wonder if the Advent 300 would benefit with recapping!
