What are a few of the CD's you heard at the fest that you're just gonna have to get?

Jef and Deborah had a Govi CD that I didn't get the title for I'd like (anybody???).

And FredT had a Katrina Benefit CD that the recordings were just fantastic on. It's called "Our New Orleans".

And I forgot to see what version of "Mars" Akhilesh was playing (again, anybody????)

I was diggin' the CDs Jim Rivers brought. I forgot the names, but Melissa wrote them down so we can pick 'em up when I come back to T-Town. What were those CDs, Jim? 'Spose I could make a few clicks on Amazon and get 'em coming.

HI Shane,
it was THe PLanets by Holst, conductedby Zubin Mehta. It's a classic recording of the planets.

As Shane said it's a benefit album and the proceeds will go to Habitat For Humanity to help New Orleans residents rebuild. It features artists who have some connection to New Orleans and includes several music styles. This disk is very well recorded.

In Mark's Audio Note room, we heard a cd from Brian Bromberg called Wood. I think everyone else who heard it wanted to go buy it right there. Amazon.com has it used for $3.
