I just bought a pair of the bose head phones. 330 dollars but they are the best money can buy. I would recomend any one who travels on airplanes allot to get a pair of them.

Bose is far below average in everything except marketing. I wouldn't own their headphones for 33 dollars, let alone 330. The Wave radio is an absolute joke, and their loudspeakers aren't even that. Sorry to be negative, but mention of their products here is kind of like talking about cars with spinners.

Sennheiser is much better, where headphones are concerned. Just about everyone is better where loudspeakers are concerned.

A co-worker of mine had Bose noise cancelling headphones that broke where the ear cups mount to the frame. On inspection, the whole design was shoddy, weak at the point of most stress. So in my opinion, not only does Bose get an "F" in the electrical and acoustical engineeing departments, but they also get an "F" in structural and mechanical engineering. They get a "B" in aesthetics and an "A+" in marketing.

$330 is a little bit expensive for me. Do you think the product will last long? Is it durable?

I was given a fantastic pair of KOSS Studio-grade headphones. These things are amazing. You really have to be dedicated to travel with them as they're a bit bulky. But the sound is amazing. I was listening to some digitally re-mastered Louis Armstrong tracks. Granted, it was a tremendous digital remastering job, but listening to them with the KOSS headphones I heard Satchmo's lips smacking during some of his vocals. Oh wait, when we're talking about Louis, they're "Chops" not lips

I agree with you in praising Koss products. They've been a top-notch company for a long time so it does not surprise me their noise cancelling headphones would be good.

I wonder why their speakers aren't that great but the headphones are? That to me is so backwards. Makes me not want to buy anything from them at all.
