Could be Magnepan MMGs at 300 bucks a pair. (MMG W)
You can get a matching center for 300 bucks more. (MMG C)

That's what I thought at first, but..... [message #24635 is a reply to message #24634] Tue, 19 October 2004 18:12 Go to previous messageGo to next message

The dimensions dpi gave were "only half meter tall and half as wide." The MMG-W's are roughly 40 x 12".

BTW, I have a pair of MMG-W's and could not be happier. They did, however, take weeks to finally break-in. The "music" take came out the first time I hooked them up was, in a word, bad. Now I could not be happier (OK, I would be happier with bigger Maggies.)....Colin

Yea, you're probably right - [message #24636 is a reply to message #24635] Tue, 19 October 2004 22:32 Go to previous messageGo to next message

C.T., A very good call on the rec - especially for the price. Check out this review at:

Look at Akhilesh's Monsoon speakers; Maybe those are what you saw.
