I haven't seen this variation before - kind of a Unity horn theme.

Of course Fitz would just HATE it

Turn one woofer around and harmonic distortion will be significantly reduced, on the order of 10x to 100x.

ooooops, maybe I HAVE seen it before [message #17810 is a reply to message #17808] Tue, 10 May 2005 04:29 Go to previous messageGo to next message

Massive front chamber followed by short horn with small mouth with rear ports to help...Is it a BP or horn

Looks to me like more bandpass than anything, even though they advertise it as a bandpass horn. The horns really to short for a sub design, and the large front chamber is is more for the lowpass filtering.

I know.. [message #17817 is a reply to message #17815] Wed, 11 May 2005 14:22 Go to previous message

But a short horn with a HUGE front chamber, has a reasonably low cutoff as hornresp shows. I wouldnt call it horn though
