I am so attached to my laptop and I have never lent it to anyone. The one time I gave it to someone, it came back with a few scratches. Is it only me that does this?

Besides that, money. Friends are friends, but money is money. If you do lend that out, don't expect it back and you won't be disappointed.

Only lend what you can afford to.
