Just started with building three 4 PI cabs and I have two questions that maybe members can advise on

1. have used pocket hole screws plus glue to fix the front, could these pocket holes interfere with performance ? if so should I fill with two pack bonding ??

2. Is it ok to run a bead of silicone around all joints on the inside to help with air tightness ?

Pocket holes for screws are fine. I've always seen them as a high-quality construction method. Not really needed for loudspeakers, but certainly they don't cause any problems. The screws are really only there to provide clamping force for the glue anyway.

As long as the panels are true, the glue will make a good seal and you don't need anything extra like silicon caulk. That's only necessary on really sloppy builds.
