Well, I'm probably the last to know, but after days of Christmas shopping and having to listen to young people make recommendations, it seems that the new sound sensation is stuff by this "Dr. Dre."

Is this another hyped up fad, or is it a new up and coming quality brand? Anyone here know?

Hi, If you are after fashion - fine. If you want quality audio - not so good. Depending on your tastes there are many better phones at lower cost.

He's a producer who has been around for quite awhile now. He doesn't make music, or rap records, anymore, he produces it. He's one of the best in that genre from what I understand.

I've heard that the headphones are really good, but I just find that really hard to believe. For what they cost, I'd just as soon buy Bose.

Far better phones are available for less money from Sennheiser and Grado.
