How hard do you think it would be to land a job as an internet DJ? It doesn't seem to be nearly as involved as a DJ for a regular radio station.

Hi, An interesting question. I suspect it is just about as hard maybe harder to do what you want. The opportunities might be wider than actual DJ positions in your area, but the opportunity to meet with and charm the guys doing the hiring would be less. Then too is the likelihood that if you did land an internet DJ position at anything that would pay well they would want you to move to their location. It would not be a work from home situation unless it was very small time.

On the flip side, there is nothing to say you couldn't start up your own network. Might not be any financial advantage to doing that unless it became really hot with some group of listeners.

My opinion is that this is a bit like wanting to be a NFL player, many are looking and few are selected.
