Yeah, kind of like the Omega and Kilomax Series. No shorting ring, but very nice in spite of that. I've always thought Eminence makes great sounding parts for the money. Eminence makes the best traditional ferrite speakers around, in my opinion. The lack of a shorting ring prevents Eminence from being as good as JBL, but the difference in sound quality is subtle. So I don't think you can go wrong with Eminence woofers like these.
