little question:
if i put the speakers on the shortest side does the tower works anyway??

As for mounting the speakers on the 13" side, I haven't tested it that way. I wouldn't expect that to be a problem, but since it's a tower, it's particularly sensitive to woofer and port position.

I tried that and it did sound good. I prefer the normal construction though. Hard to explain, but I found the sound to be smoother in the lower frequencies. I didn't try to measure the differences.

Use R11 for internal stuffing material. Those acoustic wedges are fine for lining the walls of your listening room, but they don't work as well for loudspeaker damping material.

Kits include parts for one loudspeaker.

I read somewhere that someone had used THAT insulation inside the speakers just to improve the performance of low frequencies. that's why I asked.

Lots of garbage on the internet. That stuff does nothing at bass frequencies. It's like it's not even there below several hundred Hertz.

Honestly, no stuffing material works at bass frequencies. It would have to be several meters thick, truly larger than the box. What we're expecting from this stuff is attenuation at midrange frequencies and higher.

So forget about doing anything to modify bass frequencies with stuffing. The stuffing is for higher frequencies. Lower frequencies depend mostly on driver and cabinet tuning.
