Hi guys,

I hope you could help me. I am newbie here and also a new user of turntable, not really familiar when troubleshooting this.

I have a brand new Jensen Turntable and bought it via online but the seller don't allow to replace the unit (screw them), anyhow its working fine on the first few minutes then when in the middle of the vinyl the sound became garbled with squeaking sound and suddenly it will stop. Here's a screenshot of the Jensen Turntable unit for your reference > http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/pyth/IMG_4428.jpg

Does anyone knows how to fix this? Or better yet does anyone know any repair/service center shop here in Quezon City, Philippines? Please I beg you techie turntable people to help me.

I am looking forward to hear inputs from anyone as soon as possible! Thank you so much & God bless!

Hi, Really odd. I suspect the seller knew there were problems. Anyhow, I suggest you try the vinylengine.com forum. There are lots of smart folks there. Not that we are dummies Rolling Eyes but they specialize in this area.

Good Listening

Please forgive me for being a negative nellie, but that particular model has been plagued with problems and bad reviews. I'm not sure the seller is any more responsible than the manufacturer. I hate it when people say things like "you get what you paid for" but in this case, it probably applies. Not sure what other advice anyone could give, except "don't play your records on that thing."

Hi Wayne, starting to read the reviews you gave. This is really a sad news though. *sigh...

Maybe I should've read forums/reviews first regarding turntables before purchasing one. Sad
