I was just reading about liquid microphones and they are very interesting, but rather impractical. Alexander Graham Bell used a liquid microphone during that famous first call.

That's a really interesting link, thanks for sharing it. I had heard about Bell's phone call, but I had no idea liquid microphones were so important in the development of modern ones. It's nice to understand a little more about how that science and technology progressed over the years. Smile

That was pretty cool and I had no idea either. Liquid microphones are very impractical but they sure did help with newer technology. Thanks for sharing the link!

Well, this is very interesting. I had never heard of liquid microphones before. If anything, I thought it might be some type of a new-age gadget. Surprising to hear it is something that was one of the first types of microphones ever used.
