With movies, they have trailers. Enough to get you interested before the full release, but don't say a whole lot.

There's mine:

I ordered and received a pair of PM224 boards from Marchand last week. MOSFET output good for 200W into 8 ohms per channel with the right power supply.

Gar.

Hopefully to a 200W x 2 MOSFET amp that'll let me see what my JBL drivers can really do.

Don't get me wrong. Love the sound of my tubes and gainclone. But I know there's a whole side of these drivers I've never heard before.

You're exactly right. Hit them with 100 watts of clean power and you'll hear what sets them apart from their competition.

Just picked up my power transformer today from Plitron. They're only a 15 minute drive from my office. 40V-0-40V, 500VA and weighs in at 12lb. Should go nicely with the 6 x 12,000uF of caps I got from Digikey.

BTW, Plitron is located on Magnetic Drive. Ironic?
