OK ,let me rephrase that . Does the jbl sound clearer than the delta 10 and the alpha 10 when used in the midhorn ?

Yes, the 2012 is very good. It rolls off above ~1kHz and that's perfect for use in this application. The Delta 10 reaches a little higher but you roll that off with a series coil in the crossover. In general, the midhorn was designed to cover the 200Hz - 2kHz decade, but you really only need it to reach ~1kHz to sum properly with the tweeter.
