I haven't remarked on a film lately because there hasn't
been much ans so I've reverted to type and began watching
Star Trek dvds.

But The Island was quite good. The production style looks
like the high tech world of Minority Report. The story
is a variation on the what if everyone had a clone theme
and is peppered with lots of action effects as is typical
of a Michael Bay film.

I only get library lending copies of things so it's just my
time and not any rental dough. Scarlett Johansen is
easy on the eyes. She and Jessica Alba must have been separated
at birth. I can never tell them apart.

I liked it a lot too. Reminded me of Logan's Run. So if you liked The Island and haven't seen Logan's Run, check it out.

Yeah, Jenny Agutter when she was as old as I used to be.

Didn't care much for the film though.

Remember Jenny Agutter in An American Werewolf in London?

Last time I saw her was in MI5, the Brit tv series.

Some of us age better than others.

Liv Ullman comes to mind here. I recommend a fairly recent
film with U. in it called "Mindwalk".

Can't tell Scarlett Johansonn and Jessica Alba apart? See your eye doc They're both gorgeous, but Scarlett is a 'nordic' type (grand daugther of Danish Ejnar Johansonn, who made several broadcasts on cultural history on the national channel), and Jessica is certainly 'latin' (that she's had to dye her hair blonde for movies is another matter). And, Scarlett has bigger you-know-whats! But they're both very cute...

Jenny Agutter was in Nicolas Roeg's "Walkabout" (she was 18), about a couple of kids finding their way through the Australian desert after a plane crash - she played a 14 year old girl, who couldn't manage the sexuality of the aborigine young man, who saved them (she was playing a 14 year old).

Jenny Agutter was "Jessica 6" in Logan's Run and she was the nurse in An American Werewolf in London.
