Hi Daniel.
I am not sure. I just got second hand (old) SOUND speakers made in Japan. What can I say. They are 2 ways and the wood is immaculate. They are small/shelf size, the wood is very nice indeed and I thought they were english first because of it, like Tannoys. (Do you have a pic?)
