Heard the same from all the musicians and I play a little guitar and of course there also. I find it easier to accept these anamolies by thinking in musical rather than mechanical terms which probably explains why I still enjoy the Linn even with all of it's warts. I can hear greater resolution and more accurate pitch; wider frequency response and tighter bass in many of the newer designs but I don't necessarily find it more enjoyable. How's that for a can of worms?
