Actually I'm open to about anything that will be better than what I have. What I have for equipment is a C-26 preamp and a MC-275 amp. The main speakers are Altec Valencias. I have thought about a basic Rega 3 or something like that but I know nothing about TT's. So I haven't rushed right out and bought one 
I'm not looking for absolute sound here, just decent sound.
