Let’s say for the 6AH4 amp we were discussing a while back. At a guess you need <100mv or so B+
Take whatever transformer you think might work. If you can’t decide, chose the one you would least like to fall on your foot. It’s likely to have the lowest DSR.
Your rectifier tube of choice. Into a 10-15uf film or motor run cap, to a 5-10 mH choke to a 40-100 uf cap and call it done.

Sure, go ahead and model it in psu2. If the voltage is close. Build it. Why do you think that the large majority of the power supply’s of all the SE amps, in all the web, look like this?
If the amp doesn’t sound good, thrashing the power supply is not step one.
