Interesting note on C-Span. The highest income zip code lies in the Upper East side of Manhattan where all the investment bankers live. The second is in Beverly hills. According to income reports from the IRS the movie stars who inhabit the HIlls could never afford to own a house in that zip code. Why? Becuase they don't get paid; their "Corporation" gets paid. Thats how they get a 30 mil house while the bankers in NY can't afford those houses; even though their personal income is ten times what the stars make.
That corporate rate used to provide 30% of the governments income in the Eisenhower years. They pay less than 10% now.
