Chalk and cheese. They are designed for entirely different approaches. The 5.5 can easily be used without a sub. I would guess a Pass First Watt would bring out the best, with a current-amplifier. The F1 or F3 I would LOVE to try with these things.

Next is on Open Baffle, with the coming Rhythmik High Qts 12 inch woofer. This likely will be the best of all, simply because ANY driver sounds its best completely unloaded, static air masses on both sides of the cone. No box to resonate, and project through the cone, distort the signal, etc. The dipole method is likely the Holy Grail with these gems, as it has been for EVERY other driver I have tried.
