Last summer I ventured into the world of vintage drivers. I could not resist and bought a pair of University 15" triaxial speakers with brilliance controls. They are really amazing pieces of engineering and I am having a lot of fun with them, quality of manufacture was very good and these things are impressive to look at and listen to on the bench.
But in the end, I want to put designs on my website that people can build easily. This means that they need to have an easy available source for drivers and other parts. I did not see this possibility with vintage drivers.
So I have experimented and probably will pick up a few more vintage drivers for my own entertainment, but I think for the future my main thrust will be with Lowther drivers.
