Yes. The round tube will be along the sides and top of the baffle, with an equal amount of the tube on the front and back. In theory, this should work well. Who knows how it'll really work!

The EV MC-8 should be a very good OB speaker. Don't expect miricles in the bass from an 8 inch driver with no box, otherwise it should show you what OB is all about.
