I just had to mention this.

I've been beefing about the Tangband build I made
in the whiskey box style design... the one that's apparently
not available at ZaphAudio anymore. (Never fear, if you need it
I have the drawing, I think.)

Well today I tried something radical with them: I tipped
them face up, took the backs off and let each one straddle
that way on the little stands I have for them.

Guess what? They sound great. No muddiness, good separation,
maybe small tweaks needed to EQ but overall the best they
ever sounded.

So essentially I'm listening to the Tangband 871-S's
_on edge_. What gives?
