I use 16 guage zip cord. On these little speakers, you could also use 18 guage wire. Use a good quality, pure copper stranded speaker wire zip cord for hookup inside the box. For that matter, that's what I use outside the box too, for amp to speaker connection. Nothing fancy, does everything we want it to do and works just fine.
