Re: my compensation concerns. I wondered if the 2370A was louder than CH-3 so I decided to try more attenuation. I was running 1K6a010dB in HF section & changed to 1K6a12dB. It seems right to me. Are my ears whack or might the 2370A be a bit hotter overall than the CH-3?I didn't anticipate that this change would effect what I percieved as "bright". I haven't listened to them enough yet and it could just be my taste, but this might do the trick for my 2370's.
I sure do make a lot of fuss over a horn you didn't even spec., but since you like them I don't feel too bad. (gotta love that coverage) Maybe now I can go back to being low maintenance again ; )
