How much virtual volume does it add?

When I went from 5/8" MDF to 3/4" MDF I had to enlarge the port size slightly. Is there any impact to the port size with this additional virtual volume? Or is that already in the calculations that Wayne used to determine the port size?

Perhaps I am agonizing over what may be trivial in reality, but I don't have enough knowledge to distiguish mountains from molehills.
