Hi Peter,I just wanted to comment that one of the best aspects I've experienced with my Theater 4's is their ability to play at both high and low volumes and maintain a pleasing dynamic and tonal quality. They are the first speakers which I've owned that do this so well. So I can recommend the Theater 4 Pi if you want this ability to sound good at lower levels. I am driving mine with 3.5 watts of 2A3 power and can easily get over 100dB's if I want and suffer little distortion, but low, "after bed-time" levels, are still amazingly real sounding!
I'm in the process of helping a friend build a pair of 2 Pi's and will report on how they perform as soon as they're done! (Assuming he'll let me borrow them!!!)
