Wow! You got my juices flowing. Your concept is along the lines I was thinking of. I also encouraged that you could get the speaker efficiencies to match.For my dedicated sound room I'd have the bass units built in, using 2x4 studs for bracing and go for even larger cabinets to try for extension down to 20 Hz! (I'm a bass weeny, but as long as I'm working with a fresh sheet of paper, why not go all the way?)
I'm still learning about front loaded horns. Do they need to be set out into the room to allow the soundstage to extend left/right/back?
