Wayne, I want to build a pair of 4 pi's using JBL 2226J's (16 ohm) and JBL 2418's (8 ohm) on JBL 2373 horn lens. I know the quasi-first-order crossover I need (1.6khz). I need the plans for the cabinets. I will be able to build the cabinets while I am breaking in the 2226's (suspension stiff as hell - I have JBL 2205's that are broken in as reference). One other question I have: Is it necessary to have the horn/driver inside the cabinet, or can it be placed on top of the cabinet???? Please send me plans if you would. Thanks in advance.
