late last night i tore apart my system ( after 3 hours of assembling my new audio rack) and installed my new Rane sac22 electronic x-over.
WOW, i'm impressed. i thought my system was great. it sounds like i just had my ears cleaned. dynamics, detail, and space around instruments is incredible. i know everyones a skeptic but i've spent a grand on wires which did diddly squat compared to what this piece just did, and i just ran cheap 12awg to the horns.(anyone wanna buy some cardas wire cheap?). playing with the x-over is cool, the sound doesn't get out of whack until you're way beyond the ideal x-over point, and the individual controls for low & high output give you great control. hey, wanna hear how a bad horn speaker sounds? just turn up the low output and turn down the high output, talk about honkiness!! anyways i've got a set of eminence x-overs available. any offers?cheers,
