The π cornerhorn design takes advantage of eighth-space loading exclusively. A trihedral corner provides 9dB DI all by itself. That's the same as a 70^o conical horn with a square mouth. The nice thing about it is it is very simple to build and and doesn't require a delay on the mid/high horn to compensate for path length. Makes it extra soothing to listen to with steak and wine.
