My friend is pretty set on spending 200 bux on the pair. I doubt he will go any higher, and i cant say that i blame him, I dont have that much money either after dropping $250 on my blueprint 1803 18" driver.So I guess we will most likely have to use piezos. I dont really like the sound of them, but hopefully we can find a nice one for the price.
As for the woofer, a 10" or 12" eminence alpha series would fit the bill perfectly.
What do you guys think? Are there any compression drivers out there that cost 30 or less? That are of decent quality? I figure about 80 for two woofers, 60 for two HF drivers will leave 60 dollars for xover parts and enclosures. Can it be done? Thanks.
