A well known engineer has a 4 speaker setup schematic that is supposed to put the listener in the middle of the sound stage by wiring up a two channel stereo to 4 speakers. the rear speakers are hooked up in series with the front and the right front tweeter is reversed. I have not tried
it yet but its supposed to do what a 2000.00 piece of equipment did. This is used in car stereo installations, and you must have a first order crossover to use it. the rear speakers did not have to have a tweeter but, was a option. Even though you were sitting close to the left front it still sounded like you were in the absolute center ? Does anybody know anything about this setup. Thanks !!!
