Thanks. I would finish my Two Pi's if I could work up the nerve to veneer them. They will have a solid oak base and top plate, with maple on the sides, back, and center of the front. Then there will be two 1.5"x .75" strips of solid oak matching the base running up the outside edges of the front. I built the "center strip" front baffle out, so there will be around 1/8" difference between the oak strips and the center.
