It's a rare review where I don't note my first impression 'cause a big believer that there's more brain than component break-in.
Still, there's a little of that awww vocal sound in the half octave from middle "G" to High "D" that could be stiffness of the 'phragm. I hope.
I scored some 20uF Aerovox oil can caps the other day and we'll see what they do for the x-over. Speakerman swears by them. I also wonder about the M-cap being bright. I have some .33 Auricaps buried in a nother speaker system which may have to come apart.
