For what it's worth, I would strongly recommend the mid-horn / tweeter combination in the Pi Seven. The integration is absolutely seamless, and I find the realism and sense of life in the music to be far above anything I've had before (my previous speakers were Thiel CS 3.6). The bass is good too - very musical, if not infinitely deep.
The main caveat is the size - you would be wise to mock them up in cardboard first to be sure you're willing to live with them. My room is 20' x 18' and I have the sevens in corners - they still look big.
